From Home Office to Walk-In Wardrobe: Recent Installations by Paul Davies Kitchens & Appliances
September 28, 2026
Your home should work for the way you live. Whether you need a dedicated space to work from home or want to use your bedroom better, carefully planned furniture can transform a room's look and feel.
At Paul Davies Kitchens & Appliances, our expertise goes beyond kitchens. We can help you make the most of your available space with bespoke storage and fitted furniture designed around your needs.
Two recent installations show what's possible. From a stylish home office to a beautifully organised bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe, these projects demonstrate how thoughtful design can make a real difference.
A Home Office Designed Around You
Working from home has become part of everyday life for many households. However, finding the right space for a home office can be challenging.
A spare bedroom, unused corner, or underused room can often become a practical workspace with the right furniture. A fitted home office helps you make use of the available space while creating a room that feels comfortable and organised.
Our recent home office installation shows how fitted furniture can create a dedicated workspace without compromising on style.
From desks and work surfaces to cupboards and shelving, every element can be planned around the way you use the room. This keeps everyday essentials organised while providing plenty of workspace.
Storage is particularly important in a home office. Rather than relying on freestanding furniture that may not fit the room well, fitted solutions can use the full height and width of the available space. This creates a cleaner finish and can help keep paperwork, technology, and other office essentials neatly stored away.
A well-designed home office can also serve a life beyond the workday. With the right layout and storage, the space could be used for studying, hobbies, or household administration when not used for work.
Creating a Walk-In Wardrobe in the Bedroom
Our recent bedroom installation shows another way fitted furniture can completely transform a room.
The project included a walk-in wardrobe, creating a dedicated area for clothing, shoes and accessories. A walk-in wardrobe can offer more than extra storage. It can make getting ready easier while keeping the main bedroom calm, uncluttered, and organised.
Careful planning is key to getting the most from this type of space. You can incorporate shelving, hanging rails, drawers, and cupboards to suit your individual storage needs.
Instead of trying to make standard-sized furniture work in an awkward space, fitted furniture can be designed around the room. This means corners, alcoves, and areas that might otherwise be difficult to use can become valuable storage.
The result is a bedroom that feels more considered and practical, with the walk-in wardrobe providing a dedicated place for everything.
Bespoke Furniture for Every Room
These two installations show how fitted furniture can work throughout the home. While kitchens remain an important part of what we do, we can apply the same attention to detail to bedrooms, home offices, and other living spaces.
Every home is different, which is why planning is such an important part of the process. Your available space, storage requirements and personal preferences all need to be considered before the design is finalised.
Whether you are looking for a fitted home office, bedroom furniture or a walk-in wardrobe, the aim is to create a solution that works for you.
At Paul Davies Kitchens & Appliances, we can help you explore the possibilities for your space. From the initial ideas through to installation, our team can create fitted furniture that combines practical storage with a finish that complements your home.
Make More of Your Space
You do not always need more space to make your home work better. Sometimes, you just need to use the space you already have better.
A fitted home office can provide a dedicated workspace, while a walk-in wardrobe can bring order to a busy bedroom. Both recent installations show how bespoke furniture can be tailored to the room and people using it.
