This first decor idea is one of the easiest and probably the most Valentine themed, and that's flowers! If you don't want to splurge on real flowers that tend to go in the bin a few days later, why not look into fake flowers? An easy example is rose petals lining the hallway into the kitchen or living room, a rose petal heart on the work tops. You can also get small pre made fake bouquets to place around the home. The only downside with fake flowers however is they don't smell as nice as real ones, but that brings us nicely to our next point.

Candles! These are a cheap and easy way to really set the mood. They can transform a room and depending on the scent you use, it can really just add an extra something. What could otherwise be a normal tea time meal at the time can be turned into something more romantic and intimate with the help of some candles and some flowers.

You could also dress you home and kitchen up with some home decorations like pillows, blankets or even smaller items such as tea towels, little decoration objects, or even sweets to put in your fruit bowl to add a touch of pink and cuteness to the room.
